I am continually impressed with II discussion forms. However, I am looking for other forums where people of intelligent proclivities hang out. Please tell me where I can look to find people (disussion forum wise) who really like to think.
Thanks! ![]() |

I heard somewhere once that the true measure of intelligence is how well you interact with other people.
So, I'd recommend Miscellaneous Discussions, Secular Lifestyle and Support, Elsewhere and Freethought humor. I hope I got the names right. ![]() JAI |

I think you need to be specific about your interests. Most boards are based on a common *something*, be it atheism, or a music group, or gaming. I could say that I find the discussion at the Alexander Hamilton Institute board to be intelligent and rewarding, but if you're not interested in employment law and benefits....

Much of it is technical and computer related, but the Soapbox usually harbors some decent discussion of philosophical, political, and sociological topics. |

This thread was worth the trouble if only for that link - hilarious. I did indeed need to be reminded of Jefferson's timely advice: "The office of science is to instruct the ignorant." -thanks. |
