Is that the same as computer science? Are you learning how to build computers or how to program them?

I think there is defintely a "fear factor" involved with the heavy handed one sided moderating.

Why? What could there possibly be wrong with it?

Barf.
And I thought the Armour Of God was supposed to be proof against such mild irritations as a challenge to your petty beliefs.

You've just admitted how loosely built on sand your beliefs are; and as for it being a privilege to challenge them, I personally couldn't be bothered; the effect of your beliefs is shown by their fruit, and a very poor harvest you present indeed.

Actually, I think the rules are there to keep a particular brand of Christianity and a particular clique of Christians form looking foolish.

Yes, I was going to post a similar remark, but I bash fundamentalism enough as it is.

And physics isn't really a field that fundamentalists have a problem with, as long as it doesn't include any of that Big Bang non-sense. Fundamentalists seems to be able to accept everything in science as long as it does not conflict with their rigid belief that the world is 6,000 years old, although they do misinterpret and misuse some scientific laws and theories if they have to, ie the Second Law of Thermodynamics. Also, most fundamentalist enjoy criticizing science for its "failures," but have no problem reaping the benefits to society it has given (medical technology, computers, modern transportation).
I work in a lab, the servo's are intricate and require a lab in which to inspect, repair and test them.

Actually I believe when God spoke the world into existence there was a big bang.

Fundamentalists can embrace Entropy and thermodynamics without misinterpreting them.
