Yeah. It feels good to contact my reps. Like I'm doing some thing important. I wonder how many faxes my senators get daily.

Well, I sent it. I can just see Sen. Inhofe now, shocked and appalled - and calling Ashcroft to have my home wire-tapped.

THanks Crazyfingers. I get these alerts too and now a-days always write my congresspersons. Btw, don't think they are just disregarded. A friend of mine just came back from working in a rep's office and said they tally all the correspondence they get, yea and nay for a piece of legislation. Granted, some may sometimes disregard the will of the people, but not all and not always.

oh, forgot the other part...Lieberman? Lieberman? isn't he a presidential contender? Has he submitted legislation like this before? Gotta find out more about all of them.
