Default Brian Butler - Videographer of RI file.

This is a topic that has been sticking in my craw for a few days now... And I need to see if anyone else has noticed this.

We have all seen the video of the Tragic RI / Great White fire. Now there is a scene of many of the patrons wedged at the exit trying to flee the fire. Only a few people offering help to release them. I would have set down my camera and attempted to release a few people, hopefully saving a few lives.

But what did Brian do? He kept filming with no attempt to save anyone.

Here is a quote from an article (Cameraman films startling images at club - by David Bauder - Associated press) that I found in todays Rocky Mountain News:

"Butler kept his camera rolling after exiting, ..."

F**k the camera I say. Save some lives. Oh wait. National recognition is better than saving a life with no recognition.

I would have rather seen the title:

"80 people die in fire" (true, alot of people dead, but less than if no help was given.)
