Hmmm, not the greatest picture of Zoe; but the only one on my computer. I have some absolutely beautiful pics of her in dress-ups, but my scanner doesn't work anymore.
I'll try to find a cheap way to get them on disk somewhere and post them soon.

Are you happy she doesn't have yellow hair and green skin like her mother?

Mongrel - he's adorable, and what a cute outfit! Who's the kid in his lap?

Oh, just some hanger-on...

I had a feeling someone would come out with a comment like that.

scarmig

Both of your "babies" are beautiful. I love the posed pic with the dog. The look in the dog's eye is priceless.

Babies and puppies....perfect combination

Thanks eldar. That aftermath of that pic was also priceless, as the dog had "had enough of this mess" and promptly scampered out from under the baby and dog-legged it to his favorite corner. He's a perfect dog around her, but those first couple of months tried his patience as much as it tried ours. :-) He's come around great though. Just the other day he laid down next to the baby of his own accord, kinda leaned up against her and let her play with his ears. (I was too slow with the camera for that one).

scarmig,

Damn shame about not getting that pic. It must have been adorable, but I'm sure it'll be repeated.

We have a dog of our own, she's been pretty good around the baby. However, she does seem to resent the lack of attention we've been able to give her. Whenever we play with the baby, the dog has to insert herself into the activity.

Still, I feel bad for her. I know we've been neglecting her to some degree. It's kind of impossible not to, what with the demands of the baby.

Here's a pic of the two of them:
