Seriously, I've enjoyed our little exchange. It's nice to talk to someone who doesn't get their panties all in a bunch when I deconstruct their arguments, as happens too often around here.

But all the niceties aside –such as “God’s a good guy really he is�?- the "faith-fact" is that we were made for him and for his purposes faith calls this a gift but unbelief or absence of belief feels put upon and insulted.

Actually, since I am have an "absence of belief", I feel nothing in regards to the supposed offer.

My faith in Jesus is not built upon the strength of my arguments.
I don’t mind my arguments being deconstructed.
Seeing weakness in my arguments helps me to re-examine my own assumptions.
Seeing how others break down my arguments helps me examine the way they think.
Getting angry only hurts me and my position.
I try to not take myself or others too seriously.
I don’t view you as my personal enemy.
