I have not perceived anyone on this board as being tolerant of apologists for pedophilia.
Judging by the baseless criticism some here have hurled at me versus their willingness to let Fr. Andrew's ideas go unchallenged, I would venture to say that is a profound misperception.

You're the only one who has this perception.
How is this significant? And if I'm the only one who has this perception, why does Dane Hall complain in his article that the cameras focus on the NAMBLA contingent in the parade? Could it be that he realizes intuitively that they are providing ammunition for "gay"-bashers?

Fr. Andrews views go unchallenged? I've seen him in some heavy debate in more than one thread.

I claimed that you were the only one on this board who had this perception...not the only one on the planet.

Please give me the link to any one of the threads where Fr. Andrew's ideas have gone unchallenged.

I must have missed those threads somehow

After discussing it with my fellow mods, it seems I misinterpreted your meaning behind the post. I was unaware that it was meant to be a loaded rhetorical question, and not an actual real life question. I have put the post back as before.

I apologize for misunderstanding it. No hard feelings?

Again, not what I said. I said there are people here who find themselves compelled to try to destroy my credibility, who somehow feel no similar compulsion to hold Fr. Andrew's feet to the fire.

Not why should you, why do you.

So your complaint is that they are challenging you and not Fr. Andrew?

Well, that's the nature of a discussion board. There are no rules such as "if you challenge yguy you must also challenge Fr. Andrew".

People are free to challenge one person and not another, should they so choose.

Then why did you respond to this thread?
For the same reason you started it.

Obviously true, but again utterly beside the point. Why do they find the person who points out the insanity so much more odious than the one who is the purveyor of it?
