Arrow "Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn"

Anyone watching tonight's episode?

The next segment is going to be Jon Stewart (a Jew) and Colin Quinn (a Roman Catholic) debating the theological differences and the importance of Passover vs. Easter. Should be interesting.

Maybe a bit out of the blue, but this isn't the same Colin Quinn who used to be on MTV's "Remote Control", providing us with the wonderful "Sing Along with Colin", is it? This was about 15 years ago, btw.

Yep. Same guy. IIRC he also did a stint on SNL.

That show is unwatchable. I regularly catch "The Daily Show" just before it, but the instant Colin Quinn splutters on to the screen, the TV goes off.

Colin Quinn never met a joke he couldn't manhandle into suckery by sheer force of will. I can only assume that stumbling tongue of his gets put to good use on TV producers since it is so distinctly incapable of spitting out a single well-timed punchline.

I can't disagree with any of the statements made about Colin Quinn in this thread.

However, I do watch "Tough Crowd" because I usually enjoy the guests on the program. Too bad, Colin usually messes things up in the middle of a discussion, though.

Colin Quinn is like the super-drunk guy at the party that tries to interrupt a serious discussion with inscrutable comments that he thinks are profound.

Dumb people tend to think everybody is just as dumb as they themselves are.

I was actually really looking forward to that segment. But Colin managed to do absolutely nothing with it. Jon tried. I can only watch that show when I know I'm going to enjoy one of the panelists on it. I love Jon but I prefer The Daily Show. And I got a big kick out of when Greg Proops brought it up enough notches to actually confuse most of the other guests as well as the host on Tough Crowd.
