I figured out why my tables suck! stupid mistake - I'm not allowing for cellspacing. I know how to code tables, but kept screwing up the table widths. I forgot to allow for cellspacing on either side of the cell facing the outside of the table.
(for example, a table with two columns and a cellspacing of 1 would need to have a width 3 points higher than the combined width of the cells - not 1. *HUGE DUH!*)
I'm still screwing with ASP. I can't believe how much I've forgotten since taking the class. (If you don't use it, you lose it.)
