NMJ-

I've never read Onesog, but EM and FM are, IMHO, very different from Lindsay-- neither of them make a real effort to come off as being deep philosophical thinkers. I don't recall them having any qualms about playing the stereotypical street preacher, who isn't very knowledgable, but damned devoted. Lindsay, on the other hand, pretends to be the most highly-educated person you'll meet, and acts as if her (his?) statements are illuminated pieces of divine thought.

In other words, they might all be dumb, but Lindsay is both dumb and haughty.

Yes, some people are snobs. Lindsay is female.

As far as well-educated, EM claims to read others minds with his conviction that "everyone knows the Christian God exists, but some just don't want to submit to him, so they pretend he doesn't exist." I knew Christianity came with the abilitiy to speak languages that were previously unknown to the Christian, but mindreading, wow!

Celtic Witch claimed in a new thread that scientists don't use the terms "microevolution" and "macroevolution." Will someone please correct this person?

They certainly don't use them in the same way creationists do.

Am I banned from the site, or is it down? I haven't been able to access it at all recently.

I could reach the thread mentioned above via the link yesterday night, and I posted something, but now if I try to follow links/go beyond the main faithforum.org web page, I get a 404 File Not Found error. Oddness.

I get that all the time. Try going into the main page, then to the community section, then to the box in the upper-right hand corner and scroll down to "Christian Challenge." That often works for me.

For those of you who fancy it, we're just getting a human evolution thread under way over there too concentrating mainly, it seems, on fossils.

The thread is Part Man, Part monkey.
Cheers, Oolon
