I found the post using verse to prove evolution to be great. An idea occurs to me, and I think you may be getting a hint of it already from my foreshadowing....but....wait for it.....I wonder how much fun it would be to find every heretical idea and give it proof from the bible(and I use proof loosely....the way creationists do

) What do you guys think? We already have a start, but I'm sure there is much, much more that we could do. After all, it's been my experience that those who know the bible best, are generally those who find it the least valuable. And that is surely us! What say ye?!?!

And where's magus by the way? Why is it that everytime he's asked to refute something or to complete some task, he disappears or tries to redirect to something else.

us: "magus please complete this simple task and tell us your response".

magus: "what about those phillies?" [Magus disappearing around corner] "I'll get them....I'll start the exact same argument again as if they hadn't already destroyed my point(at least a thousand times already no less)!".....[magus hitting head after forgetting to duck under stairwell]

The bible DOES describe evolution. Admittedly, it's lamarckism, but still. Aren't there verses about placing your cattle (or whatever) next to poles so that parts are shaded, then the offspring will have stripes? (Or words to that effect).

Genesis 30
37 Jacob, however, took fresh-cut branches from poplar, almond and plane trees and made white stripes on them by peeling the bark and exposing the white inner wood of the branches. 38 Then he placed the peeled branches in all the watering troughs, so that they would be directly in front of the flocks when they came to drink. When the flocks were in heat and came to drink, 39 they mated in front of the branches. And they bore young that were streaked or speckled or spotted. 40 Jacob set apart the young of the flock by themselves, but made the rest face the streaked and dark-colored animals that belonged to Laban. Thus he made separate flocks for himself and did not put them with Laban's animals. 41 Whenever the stronger females were in heat, Jacob would place the branches in the troughs in front of the animals so they would mate near the branches, 42 but if the animals were weak, he would not place them there. So the weak animals went to Laban and the strong ones to Jacob. 43 In this way the man grew exceedingly prosperous and came to own large flocks, and maidservants and menservants, and camels and donkeys.

come on, guys; give magus a break. his little fundie mind is overheating trying to figure out how God's Word can be defended against us heathens. give him some time, and i'm certain he'll cook up some insane defense that we'll easily tear apart.
