They did. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. Only a gay person could get away with a combination like that - it would just clash horribly on a straight person, because we don't have any style.

That could be mistaken for an invitation.

Thumbs down

What I don't like is that in certain circles the color purple--any kind of purple--is associated with homosexuality. I like the color purple because of its association with royalty and the fact that violet light has the shortest wavelength. But no, my old roommate has to think that choosing anything purple--even if it's just a cigarette lighter--is something that I shouldn't do because it's too associated with the gays.

I can sort of sympathize with Mucko and OJ on this one.. all of a sudden, anything with a rainbow color scheme has taken on a TOTALLY different meaning. Oh well, it happens.

So the OP is a guy? A guy is wearing 'Hello Kitty' and is surprised that people think he's odd? I doubt anybody would think he was gay..I don't know a gay man who would be caught dead wearing a shirt with a rainbow and 'Hello Kitty' on it.

I dunno.
Everytime I put on my big Easter Bunny suit and go happily walking down the street with my petrol-driven chainsaw, people look very peculiar at me, and they will avoid me, which is very sad when I only want to chat them up.

All I want to know is, why ? Which group can I blame for spoiling the Easter Bunny look ?
