I've heard more about Paul possibly being gay. John Shelby Spong loves this theory. He thinks homosexuality may have been Paul's "thorn in the flesh," the affliction that God would not take away.

Default My point is

That all fundy christianity to this day is obsessed with the ten commandments only and that other laws to them are irrelevant(at least the ones that I knew at one time).

My points was based on the fundy principal, use what they believe against them to justify what they are against using their bible.

You see Fundy christianity done away with the ceremonial and leviticus laws they were nailed to the cross, and the ten commandments in some cases still stands and that is all.

Fundy christianity does not believe the levite laws. They were nailed to the cross and do not give me the bull of 2 collasians I heard that too many times.

Christianity believes the ten commandments, everything else were done away at the cross.
So I based my arguement that the ten commandment was the only law to live by.That is all.

Ooookay . . . so does this mean, by your argument, that Christianity should accept homosexuality because Christianity should no longer recognize the Levitical laws against it?

Well, I am not sure if modern Christians would agree with that line of reasoning; however, how does that make Junior gay--not that there is anything wrong with that. . . .

Well, I think you would have better ammunition with the flat-earth than a gay-Junior--not that there is anything wrong with it.

Actually, they will just deny that the Bible says the world is flat--see the thread on it--so you better have the passages ready.
