The only two I visit at all are this one, and one for amateur filmmakers: www.fanfilmsforum.com. It started out as a geek site devoted to Star Wars fan films, but it's been coming around to supporting those dedicated to making the low-/no-budget films of any nature. Nice people.

I also visit an Employment Law and HR board at the Alexander Hamilton Institute that I use for work, to research and learn HR and benefits related information.
I also run a message board that I started for a group of my friends, who I met on the offical message board dedicated to singer Chris Isaak. We all posted on the official board for years, but then they changed the format and we all hated it, so we migrated and made our own board. I don't even listen to his music anymore, but I still run a board dedicated to him. But we don't really talk about him anymore, it's just our gathering place for a big group of friends. |

Slashdot.
I'm registered on a couple of tech support BBS's, but I only read there when I have a problem and post when I feel guilty. I also have an account on the Star Wars Galaxies board, but that was so I could get into the beta process... still no golden ticket. |

Boxingtime.com
It has a boxing forum and a regular forum where we can talk about anything. We have known each other on their for a long time, so it is a pretty tight crew over there. |

I'm also at the Master of Orion III forum. Moo3 is a sci-fi strategy PC game to be released very soon. I've been following its development for 2 years and can hardly wait to finally get it.
My handle there is "Nght_shade" ![]() |

I'm a moderator and long-time member of HackerNetwork.com, and I'm a regular on teh Geekery (OMFGLOL!!!11), and I also frequent the HackMaster forums on the KenZerco site.
Until recently I was more of a lurker here on iidb, but I was trying to get a feel for the place before I decided to start putting both feet in my mouth on any topic I might post on. |
