Question Computer display problem....

When I hit sites with MM Flash or animated gifs the entire screen flashes and blips. I've tried setting refresh rates, different configs but nothing made any difference. It could be the driver, even though it's the one that came with the card or maybe I need a driver for the monitor (wouldn't have thought that until I discovered a driver for it on line).

Anyone have any ideas?

Reinstall your video card. If that doesn't help, then update the drivers for the card.

And make sure your browser and Flash plugins are the most recent versions.

The question is "what has changed recently" that would case this?
What have you done/installed/changed that would do this?
Nothing?
If so, this is typical MicroSquish problems of course.
If you have an ATI graphics card, and you use windowsupdate.microsoft.com, DON'T use their driver download, it screws up everything and you might not be able to boot.
Get all updated patches for your O/S (I am assuming you are using Windows) before updating your drivers for your video card and updating the flash components.
You might have a bad graphics card too, although that is an unusual way to show it, it might be. More likly a MicroSquish problem with a bad driver.
Usually you don't need drivers for the monitor, but sometimes if they are odd types.

Anyway, have fun
