I bought a Buddhist mag and on the back cover it says
His Holiness The Dalai Lama
In New York City Sept. 17-21, 2003

My first thought: And I bet he can sit up straight without a piece of rebar up his ass, unlike Pope J. P. 2!!

Yeah, I saw a thread somewhere about that, and replied, basically saying I thought it was a load of doggy poo if they restricted the study to monks and didn't compare with other devout religious practitioners (yogis, christian monks, etc).
