All diety-forms are really just emanations of the Sublime Light. Think of God as being layered; we humans cannot perceive the whole of the Divine; we can only see specific layers, slices if you will. The Holy Kabbalah explains the concept of a multi-layered Deity quite nicely.

Default I think

That this whole God character may have been created from an alien encounter where this powerful alien creature actually had such power that it was able to actually kill humans.

Where is this alien creature now,Who knows.

We do know that the entire universe is expanding and growing(the universe is alive) and there are billions of planets and stars.

So there may be many civilizations out in the universe,The universe is far to vast for us to be the only ones.

You see that this god personna may have been created by the ancient peoples due to its power and technology.

I agree that the arguments for a god are put forth mainly to reinforce already existing theist beliefs. Christians, of course, use the supposed accuracy of the Bible to support the idea that the biblical god is the "true" God. And we've all heard the time-worn and facile claims about fulfilled prophecies, historical accuracy, eyewitness accounts, etc, etc. Again, it will appeal to those who may not be inclined to really research it critically. I think in general, people come to theistic religion not by reasoned choice. Either they have grown up immersed in such beliefs, or they accept it because it satisfies an emotional need--security, fellowship with others, acceptance, purpose, etc.
