Question Does the world need Revolution or Evolution?

Revolution-The world needs a continuation of the efforts of revolutionary communism until the whole world is communist.
Evolution-Capitalism is working fine under the present circumstances and it will continue to evolve to meet the needs of most people most of the time.

There seems to be a major polarization of opinions here on the role of capitalism and communism in the world. This poll is intended to get a sense of just where the members here stand on the two forms of social and economic organization.

I think this is too narrow. What if I believe in evolutionary socialism?

You make a good point, is there any way to adjust the poll? Nevermind, I just noticed that Mods are the only ones that can do it.

Agreed. You could have at least just called the "revolution" option "the world needs a major revolutionary change to the capitalist system" without narrowing it down to only communism.

I see that some here feel the need to be somewhat abusive in there response. Not you Bumble Bee Tuna. Though the poll is narrow, I'm surprised at the responses so far. I thought it would be more towards the communist revolution, but that side is getting trounced so far. It's just a poll guys, don't take it so seriously.

I don't think there's a single person here who wants a communist revolution in the "continuing tradition" of the USSR, China, Cuba.

Most communists are talking about something qutie different.

none taken.
I just wanted to get a sense of what the devide is here between the two systems.
As there isn't much response to the poll, perhaps there arn't that many on each side here. I thought there were more that were comitted to one side or the other.
