On ex-JW boards there is a lot of talk about Smurfs. Yes, those little blue devils were demonized, as far as us J-dubs were concerned. Many urban legends sprouted about smurf dolls walking down the aisle of the Kingdom Hall (church) during services or of smurf dolls talking, flipping people off (do they even have fingers?), and even choking kids. Boy were we a superstitious bunch!

So if you want to freak out JW's, just have a smurf doll handy. haha

I had no idea! I was a huge Smurfs fan when I was in pre-school. No wonder I'm so messed up! Those darn Smurfs turned me into an atheist and a homosexual!
