Post True Christian-What is a True Christian?

TC, aka Barbara,

I'd like to pose a challenge for you.

Please define what makes a Christian a "True Christian." You can do this either in a single statement or by perhaps creating a list of all the qualities that a "True Christian" would have, so that those of us that are interested can differentiate between those "True Christians" and all the "Fake Christians."

You mentioned in your intro thread that any Christian that does not preach Hell is not a "True Christian," so that can be your starting point.

Thanks,

Brian

OK, I'll go first. If someone acts like they think the Sermon on the Mount was actually directed at themselves, I consider them Christian.

They seem to pop up in just about every imaginable denomination, and no more in one than the other.

Can you explain more how to do the little 'TM'?

Then I'll be really glad I read this thread!!!

The Other Michael - you're right!

Brian63 - good question; True Christian already said she wasn't here to answer questions though.

A True Christian is someone who has Jesus in their heart.

Then - obviously - they will be making every effort to live out the Sermon on the Mount, etc...

love
Helen

Even if, by having our questions answered, we could be saved from the burning fires of hell?

Hmmm, doesn't sound very loving to me!
