If it is so simple, it can't take that much time...so solve it. I'll be impressed.

Even though I don't know the answer, I think I guess from general principles what the relationship of the two answers would be. It seems to me that the answer will be highly relevant.

You've suggested that this kind of thing is within your field of expertise. Show us that you have some competence in something.

What, from any of your previous posts, is any evidence that you would begin to think anything positive where I am concerned?

Why should I "jump through hoops", when we continue to cover the same ground, again and again?

You've said you have "advanced training in fluid mechanics". You've been asked a question in fluid mechanics that you yourself have said is simple. I sure don't know the answer to that problem -- I've had no engineering training at all -- so here's your opportunity to demonstrate that you are more knowledgeable than I am in this subject. I'll even publicly and unbegrudgingly admit that you are a better engineer than I am.

C'mon. It's gotta be at least a little bit tempting to be able to compel me to admit my inferiority.

Not in the least. I am not driven in that way.

Then do it so that I will have to consider your point of view at least a smidgen more charitably.

Vander,

Please answer the question and show us your calculations. You keep insisting that gravity is an issue with fetal circulation. What calculations have you done to lead you to this conclusion?

This seems to be a symptom of your posts here. You make a statement as if it is a conclusion base on research you've done. I have asked you repeatedly to provide me with the research that lead you to your conclusions, whether calculations or articles. And in every instance, you have been unable to provide it. My only conclusion is that you actually have done no research and instead are making pronouncments from a position of ignorance.

If I am wrong, you can easily disprove me by showing me what calculations lead you to your conclusions about gravity and the fetal circulatory system.

Rufus,

Go here and substitute typical dimensions for a fetus...

Vander,

What dementions would those be? Come one show us what calculations you did to come to your conclusions.

Oh yeah, the only force I see mentioned in your link is gravity. What about the force due to the pressure of the fluid in the womb? Do your calculations take that into account?
