This is a joke, right? A sick one at that. Bill Gates has committed $1,000,000,000 for supplying vaccines and vaccine R&D for third world countries. That's selfish? How many lives will you have directly saved in your lifetime??

A selfish prick??

Cojana,

The Serenity Prayer by Reinhold Niebuhr is good:

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.

I think the idea of being Bill Gates bringing some sort of contentment is not so much the idea that expensive trinkets would be a good thing as that it would help to be free of money worries. Money worries certainly beset the vast majority of humankind.

The trouble is that what one person sees as being comfortably off another thinks is precarious and insufficient and a third thinks is riches beyond his dreams.

While money may not make you young, healthy or beautiful, it can pay for good doctors and cosmetic surgery.

Cojana, You are misreading me. I quoted what Mortal Wombat said just below your first post. He was implying that Bill Gates was a selfish prick, and I was presenting the other side of the coin. He was taking your first paragraph out of context and... ah forget it... just re-read this thread from the beginning and you'll figure it out. :banghead:

Default your kidding.!???

Members whom believe Bill Gates are not a contented peace of mind recipient, you don't think giving one billion to stop hunger, gave gates some peace of mind,? Bill Gates are free of all worry, content in his empire of technology, imo, he are as content and satisfied as God, why wouldn't he,?
