Nah. Americans are parochial -- most people know what foods they like, and don't want to try anything different. And we "can't handle" spicy food because restaurants always water it down for the gringos, and so we just aren't used to it.

I used to buy into that whole thing about weak stomachs, but that was before I had to deal with a passle of Japanese exchange students who couldn't handle rich foods. Vomiting from eggplant parmagiana? Heh heh heh.

There is nothing quite like a slice or two of fried Black Pudding with a traditional English breakfast.

Yum yum!

Ps - I am not sure if this riddle has been circulated before. But why can't Adam and Eve be Chinese ?
Because if they were Chinese, they would have eaten the snake and not the apple

There are slightly different variations in the answer to the riddle but my version would have been if they were Chinese they would have eaten the snake as well.

I'm a filipino that eats filipino and chinese food. Pretty much nothing disgusts me anymore.

Wow! That's dinuguan, a Filipino specialty. Very yummy, it's one of my favorites. You mean you don't like it? Eat it with rice, and you'll see.

The rest of the world is pretty clueless about what Americans eat. They think we eat hamburgers three meals a day and pizza on sundays. Actually, in my experience, the most conservative food eaters I've met are the Chinese in general. They'll eat anything as long as it is packaged in a Chinese culinary idiom. Just try to get them to eat Indian food, though, or some other non-European cuisine.
