I really like the intensity of the show and how it breaks away from the network red-tape of censorship, etc.
As for the season finale, I expected a lot more and I mean a lot more! It ended in only 1 hour...I thought it was going to be a 2 hour cliffhanger! Boy, was I disappointed. ![]() Lestat |

Yeah, I thought the finale was good, but it could have passed for just a regular episode. I was also hoping for/expecting a 2 hour one

I've got it on tape, will have to check it out this weekend.
Looks as if the new show "Lucky" will be taking over the 10pm Tuesday timeslot. |

The quality of this show is getting really close to Homicide: life on the street.
The way the season ended changes each and every character in fundamental ways-- it was a great ending. It wasn't really over the top crazy-- but if you look at it, the whole infrastructure of the show has changed. If you haven't watched it yet, the first season is out on DVD. If that doesn't get you addicted, then you don't know quality story telling. |

I love the show, and watch it religiously. It's the best series going, best since Homicide.
IMO, Stabby hit the season-ender right on the head. It left me anxious for the next episode, that's for sure. My only complaint was that the money train heist worked out a bit too cleanly, though there were a couple of hitches. But then, I suspect the repercussions of the heist will come back to haunt them next season. Does anyone know if the third season will come out a little earlier (e.g. in the fall) or do we have to wait 10 months again? |

Yeah, it did seem pretty short once it actually happened, I was expecting it to be a lot longer, but it was good none the less. Also, whats "Homicide (:Life on the Street)"? |

Only the best TV crime drama (best drama, period) ever, IMO. Ran from January 1993 - May 1999 on NBC; you can occasionally catch syndicated reruns on cable. The writing for this show was almost always top-notch. (Well, always in my opinion, but I try to avoid such absolutes). This show had some of the cleverest dialogue you'd ever hope to hear on TV. The characters were (mostly) memorable; like The Shield, they were multi-dimensional, and all had their own ghosts and skeletons to deal with. Also like The Shield, H:LOTS managed to transcend the normal "episodic" formula of many crime dramas where each episode is crime->investigation->solution->chase->arrest. The show began with a case that was never solved, and that continued to haunt one of the major characters throughout the series. |

Sounds pretty good, maybe I can catch some reruns sometime.
