What they say about one source of info is true. Its hard to find truly unbiased, objective info. I go to many many sites whjen something is going on and I want the whole enchilada.

Here is a good place to start from google with some a few the largest mass outlets out there:

Google's News Links

For more progressive and left leaning news I hit:

http://www.truthout.com/
http://www.commondreams.org/index.htm
http://www.thenewrepublic.com/

I follow up on the conservative right's POV too and find plenty of that slant covered by the WSJ, Faux, MSNBC and most of my radio stations.

LOL!

Anyways, I hit CNN, MSNBC then FoxNEWS, then I check left and right wing sites on the web. I don't mind getting information from BBC and Sky as well. I'd never get news from Pravda, as they state they literally are biased towards Russia. I don't trust govt-run news agencies too much, so I'm a little skeptical of Pravda and the BBC.

Default go to the internet

Apart from Mother Jones, The Nation, The Progressive and a very few others (all pretty low circulation), US news media are owned by about 5 huge conglomerates and are uniformly right-wing and pro-war.

They constitute a Ministry of Propaganda for Bush.

For alternatives, go the internet.

Start with www.buzzflash.com
Then www.commondreams.org
Next. www.zmag.org
Then wwwlguerillanews.com

And of course, www.motherjones.com
And, [url]www.thenation.com

The first two in particular will give you a wealth of articles from all over the world. You will see the US as other nations see us, and know why we have gone, in a mere 19 months, from being universally sympathized with over 9/11, to universally (and rightly) distrusted, despised, feared.
