I'm a high school freshman from central Texas. I guess I'd just like to say hello, and that I wish I was a few years older, so I could help vote the imbecile in chief out of office in 2004.

Hello. Don't worry. I'll make sure to cast a vote against him when the time comes.

I'm 16 and will be voting in the state election which somewhat undermines the validity of the count, but oh well....

Hey, don't worry, I'll vote against him for you...twice even!
![]() Actually, this thread gives me an idea...we could start a fund, where all the people under 18 pay all of the people too apathetic to get off their lazy asses and vote, to vote for them! This could change the whole face of politics! Seriously, in an age of voter appathy, it very heartening to see young folks - god, I sound so old - who actually want to vote! It gives me some hope for the future, at least... You know, when I was under 18, and chaffing that I couldn't vote, I volunteered my time to a local political campgain...(I won't say which, I was a 16 year-old fundie at the time, and well, it's just too darn embarassing to talk about...but his first name was "Pat"...[hangs head in shame]) - bryce |
