Default Question regarding Matrix Reloaded

The plot outline for The Matrix Revolutions, as it appears at www.imdb.com , states the following.

Quote:
War breaks out on the scorched Earth as the machines invade Zion. Whereas Reloaded is about life, Revolutions addresses death.
One question. In which manner was The Matrix Reloaded about life? If I had to say, probably all the psychobabble about "choices" such as what Neo and the Architect minimally discusses toward the end. Also, whatever jargon they were sharing when they ate dinner with the frenchman.

?

I think that maybe the big underground rave was supposed to be an affirmation of the vitality of those living in zion.
Or it might have been a fairly weak excuse to show some nipples.

People read too much into those movies anyway. It was about guns and kung fu.

It wasn't.

All I know about Revolutions is that it shows Neo and Smith in a showdown on a rainy street lined with dozens of other Smiths; the Seraph gets to shoot some guns; and the Zion robo-mecha briefly glimpsed in Reloaded has a larger role in the war with the Sentinels.

I sat thru 10 minutes of credits for that? Even Back to the Future Part 2 had a better preview.

Yeah, but the music to the credits was pretty good.
