How exactly do those things prove that God is still active? I see them simply as evidence that I and the solar system are still active.

God answers Moses that God's name is "I Am"

The sun exits or has Is-ness(I Am).

When something Is, it is founded in God's "I Am".

Now, I realize this will only work if you believe that part of the bible.

So if you by default consider all of the bible to be bunk, then no proof will suffice, will it?

But there was a time when the sun was not, and there will be a time when the sun will not be. Comparing the sun to God's alleged "I am" assertion, therefore, seems to be a stretch.

Of course before creation, before God created, God was still "I Am" then God created everything, everything created by God contains "I Am"

Lift the stone and I(Jesus=I Am) will be there

Right.

LOTR Spoilers

He needs Gollum's help. However, it's a false analogy - why would an all-powerful being need anyone's help?

Their dinner?

And what is inside the dinner?

...and it goes on. Whatever you say Is, there I Am
