It's sad to see someone as dishonest as randman.

He's posting outright lies on an obscure web site about his encounters here even as we allow him to post his drivel on our forum.

Randman's a loser. Only a pathologic liar or someone in untenable denial could post as he does. It's hard to imagine an existence so pathetically clouded. He warrants our pity as well as our scorn.

I will if I can ever get approved to post to the site. You've got to send a request to the board's moderators to get posting priviledges. Still waiting to hear from them.

The sad thing is they wonder why we get angry with their lies. *sigh* Perhaps creationism should become a valid class of mental illness?

Too funny.

His latest claim over there is that we claim that we didn't lock his threads, merely moved them. But that's obviously a lie on our part because of the little "lock" icon next to them

He doesn't know where someone got his email. It's in his damn profile. What a moron!

Would anyone care to provide a translation?

My mother used to call that "biting off more
than you can chew".

Ie, he could dish out, but he couldn't take it.

Couldn't stand the heat in the kitchen...

How about "they tried to make me show that I had a clue, knowing full well that I didn't!"

randman: "...then tried to force me literally to explain a complex gene sequencing in technical terms, knowing that I know nothing of the technical aspects of genetic sequences."

Not only is he an idiot, but he's a whining putz. His manifest ignorance of the fossil record and punctuated equilibria certainly didn't prevent him from posting on those subjects ad nauseum.

I suppose I shouldn't let this guy get under my skin (he won't be the last of his species to come this way), but I can't stand that he is claiming victory after getting his ass handed to him.

Don't worry, DF. I was debating randman on that board for about 3 months. I tried the exact same approach as people did here--explain the difference between science and faith, show evidence, point out misquotes and misinterpretations, etc. All he would do is spawn lies, post the same garbage and raise another quote- laden set of lies another issue when backed into a corner. HE has pulled the exact same shit the entire time. Moreover, there is a hardcore little cadre of serious bible thumpers on that board as well--they usually chime in to congratulate him.

The Univ. of North Carolina is a fine school, but it, likely any other, is not immune from graduating completely dishonest idiots. Moreover, there is a hardcore little cadre of serious bible thumpers on that board as well--they usually chime in to congratulate him. Fortunately, the people UNC usually graduates are not quite as intellectually dishonest as randman.
