I do think that a computer system will eventually be able to mimic a human precisely. I know right now there is a project at M.I.T. whereas a robot that has visual recognition, learning capabilities, audio recognition etc, is in place. I dont personally think that we will see a full rendition of AI anytime soon, but I do feel that it is inevitable.

Also, on a minor note, someone had commented earlier in this thread that computer can process more infomation than humans. As of right now I am not aware of any computer system that can outperform the processing power of the brain. Even as your reading this your brain is processing, translating, and interpreting all of the data comming into it. Your brain is faster than you think.
