Well, if there is a promise... Promises don't go away just because they're inconvenient.

While were talking about staff members that make the rest look bad - just what is the deal with Gunny (now GySgt)?

I remember the day I found out he became a mod, I was all like "wtf?".

Nope. Permanently toast, shitcanned for life.

I know we had our little bouts, but I never saw that you deserved a banning, in fact I believe you corrected me on a few points.

Yep, quite a few chuckles on this end too.

I think the permant ban thing is a little funny. Kinda of like the fundy-God, huh? Once your dead, that's it! Too late to make up for it now!

People are used to idiots, but rampant hypocrisy and dishonesty will always stand out at least a little.
This is precisely why I think that fundamentalists should never hold public office. They are unable to judge fairly whenever one of their co-religionists is involved, or whenever their faith is at stake. They get into this fortress mentality that makes it OK to cast every issue as us vs them, and good vs evil.

I'm not talking about *banning* them from office or anything like that. I'm just saying that, as a general rule, fundies and govt don't mix.
