I may not have everything right, I never claimed I do.

But God said his word is inspired and infallible, and if a liberal takes what they want because it's nice and dismiss the rest based on personal feelings or theology, or whatever, then it is wrong.

But I am no judger, that is reserved for God.

How self-righteous and demeaning, to reduce your fellow Christians' spiritual understanding to a "warm fuzzy feeling." You have no right to damn people for seeking within their faith and scriptures the best way to live their lives, in a manner that is fulfilling and pleasing to their concept of deity.

And don't tell us, "This is not my opinion, this is God's opinion," because that is even more fallacious and patronizing than what you've claimed above.

I don't know, God said it, or inspired it to be said.

Dude, you have no idea what you are talking about, maybe you would be better off in the evolution forum or something, you know, talk about how men were bugs and stuff.

Seriously, I can't stand being followed around and trolled, could ya just kinda go away, you have negative Karma.

We don't have arthropods in our ancestry, but that is a subject better fit for E/C.

Calm down, badfish. What do you expect out of this bboard? And how would you want him to behave?

Then by implication they believe He was a liar, since He predicted both His own crucifixion and His own resurrection.

Having replied to roughly three of your posts in my entire life (none of which you addressed), you're correct in that I have no idea what somebody is talking about.

I don't have a dog in this fight, but I would seriously like to hear what a "liberal christian" or three thinks of your characterization of their faith as merely a "warm fuzzy feeling."

TTFN.

Actually some of the liberal Christians are incredibly annoying.

There is one liberal I knew who used to be my friend and criticized the Muslims for picking and choosing. This was meant by the fact that the Muslims believe in Jesus but as a prophet, not a son of god. He got all offended and told me that you can't believe in Jesus and not believe that he is also the son of god. It is like, and I quote:

"Buying a tissue box but only the tissues and not the box."

This is coming from the guy who doesn't believe anything in the Bible except for Jesus having died and risen. And even then, when I presented the Dan Barker challenge to him, he sputtered some incoherent illogical words.

They may be more logical, but they still cling to their silly things like fundies do. They just have less to cling to.

And it's especially frustrating because they're so close! :banghead:
