Did anyone see Geo Wills' editorial on conservatism? It is real hard to label is it not?

Christ Almighty. I was channel surfing and saw her speaking on Book TV (CSPAN) ... it was a rerun of Friday's BookTV show, and - and i'm serious here - she's a freakin' BARITONE. It's kind of spooky, I have always imagined her as a squeaky/shrill/shrew-like woman. But she just came off as arrogant and condescending as she blamed "liberals" for the ills of society and idolized Joe McCarthy.

Heh, the parties were different then. Lincoln was something of a moderate abolitionist, and there were much stronger ones in the Republican Party of his day.

She has been a semi-regular on Bill Maher Live and each time was verbally raped by an opposing viewpoint. It is obvious to me that she has a group think mentality. She wants people to like and agree with her as if that justifies her insane rantings in her books. It is easy to write a book with noone calling you on your ideas. However, once she got into a Q&A forum she melted like butter. That tells me that her opinions are only there for entertainment purposes.
