Evolution doesn't stop happening... It's not like we can put a little hanger thing on our doorknob that will tell the evolution fairy to leave us alone now that we have the gall to think we're at the top of the universe. Evolution is an entirely MINDLESS force. It doesn't CARE. As long as we're reproducing and dying, evolution - for the better AND for the worse - is still occuring.

Yes, some for the worse. People with maladaptive and/or dangerous mutations are MUCH more likely to survive now than they would have been in, say, the stone age.

I would LOVE to see just what scientific journal you got this from. Evolution is not just a mindless process, it's also a CONTINOUS process. It doesn't stop when it thinks it's done. Even creatures that seemingly haven't changed in millions of years, like the horseshoe crab, are still mutating and evolving, albeit natural selection keeps them roughly in their place. But change their environment, and they might change also.

thier at thier best form for what they do, and as for 'evolution' as mindless, maybe as we conceptulize 'Mind', but who's to know if 'intelligence' has its own process,
Yes, it does, if I take your meaning correctly. Social "evolution" ( Evolution doesn't really fit very well, though, and misunderstanding of that has led to abominations like social Darwinism ) has been proceeding MUCH faster than genetic evolution now that we have the means to record information, and pass information quickly from one human to another. This is not evolution in the literal sense, however, just the accumulation of knowledge.

Science is still in the dark today? Huh?

Cojana, by "pinnacle" presumably you are referring to the same pinnacle which the American Mastodon, Balearic Islands Cave Goat, Cuban Monkey, Cuvier's Gomphothere, Diprotodon, European Giant Deer, Giant Capybara, Giant Irish Elk, Giant Short-faced Bear, Giant Wallaby, Isolobodon, Lemerle's Hippopotamus,
Long-legged Llama , North American Cheetah, Protemnodon, Puerto Rican Sloth, Sabertooth Cat, Stag-Moose, Steller's Sea Cow, Tasmanian Wolf, Thylacine, Tretretretre, Tyrrhenian Vole, and Woolly Mammoth all reached ?

Cool Wow,! how magnificant we are,..

I've read where science thinks the Disosaur may have evolved into a chicken, thier presentation seemed believable too, for the last couple of days I have been studying the Sceince 'Channel;' I saw where England and France constructed a tunnell under the Ocean, close to 40 miles long, england are no lomger an Island, took them 10 years to complete, the emgineers whom constructed the plan are short of genious's, the excavating behemoths they constructed are unbelievable, what a wonder they aChieved, from France to England in 23 minutes,90 miles an hour trains, below the ocean, human beings at work,.. then Hong Kong, built and island on the ocean to satisfy thier need of an international Airport, the largest building in the world, can be seen from puter Spaqe , human beings are here for keeps, or do you think that we might evolve into cockroaches,?!! the fate of the Dinosaurs,? we are it,member, the finished product,..we are fantastic, ...
