Weird. Actually its the Christian Brothers of de la Salle. He went to their college in California. I went to their sister college in New York, who are also having a kick ass year in basketball. Go Jaspers!

I wonder why he made that mistake? Strange thing is, the term Christian Brothers is a bit misleading seeing there are a whole bunch of groups with that name, including one that was involved with a child molestation problem in New Foundland. But this sect is a great one. One based on real education and not brain washing. I learned alot at the school.

Well, he said he'd ended his stint with his order, but he hasn't said anything about his faith (not that I'm saying he should or anything, but I wonder if he's now an atheist or a theistic evolutionist - I'm sort of hoping the latter, because that'd make this "religious discrimination" lawsuit look ridiculous).
I think it is likely he is still a devout catholic. He probably left the order so he could do what he wanted, instead of being at the call of the Church. He left for professional aspirations, not because of faith, IMIO (In my ignorant opinion). La Sallians are not against evolution or science.

It doesn't look like it is a mistake. Apparently "Brothers of the Christian Schools" is a name for the order. Perhaps it is the english name?

And it's pronounced with only 1 syllable.

This is weird. I think both terms are right, though, I hadn't heard of the other one up to now. I stand corrected.

My bad. I did know that. Sometimes its tough to remember that though, seeing how insignificant Newfoundland is.

I'm just kidding. Plenty of important things come from Newfoundland. Like the needy and the poor and the destitute, the homeless, the hungry...

That's ok. Americans are so fucking arrogant they consider everwhere insignificant. Can you locate Newfoundland on a map? Can you locate CANADA on a map?

None of that in America of course. Healthcare for all.

Cut tgamble some slack, guys! He's our only Newfie, and they've got the Joggins fossils up there - they could hold our ancestors for ransom!
