Bleh, I couldn't stand it. And I'm usually all for off the wall type movies. The last minute or so was great, but a bunch of poorly edited crap before that sure doesn't make up for it.

I don't remember them following the stream. I remember them crossing it a couple of times as it became more apparent that the compass was no good - then they kept following the compass. Then again I haven't seen it since it was first in theatres, so I could be remembering wrong.

I've watched it about three times ... I own the DVD ... and I could swear they followed the river briefly. I haven't watched it in a couple years, so perhaps my memory is fuzzy. It doesn't really matter, since the point was that no matter what they tried they wouldn't have been able to get out of the woods.

I don't remember them following the river but it's been forever since I've seen it so I freely admit that I could be wrong.

I thought the movie was interesting enough to watch once. And the last thirty or so seconds of the film did freak me out. But on the whole I don't have any desire to see it again.

I actually got nosebleeds because of that movie. Imagine raising your hand to scratch your chin, and then discover it's full of blood, while watching BWP. Yes, I screamed like a girl.

I watch Blair Witch on cable at 2 a.m in the morning. It sort of getting your ass paranoid all over the place!

I think people diss BW because they watch it in cinema. You don't get the same experience as in a lone bedroom in 2 a.m in the morning.

I had read some reviews of it that said that a lot of people got sick watching the shaky-cam in the theater. I can imagine that being possible.

Although I didn't see it in the theater, I would imagine that the movie is far better to be watched on the television. The shaky-cam doesn't bother you so much then, and it looks more like you are watching real video.

This is important, because the movie's success in being scary is dependent on the viewer being drawn in emotionally. I would imagine that would be more difficult if you were in a theater with a hundred other people and it was being played on the big screen.

Once you are drawn in emotionally, the last ten minutes will just sock you hard and I still get chills from remembering the final scene!!

I thought it was alright, but I'm not a big fan of horror movies. It seemed much better than the usual cheese-fest(Freddie, Jason, The Ring, Darkness Falls etc).

It didn't really scare me, even-though I saw it at 1:00 AM, while sitting alone in a lawn chair at the back of a drive-in (this drive in is near a forest/swamp, about 5 or so km outside the city).

I thought it was good, but not great

I liked the movie, but there wre parts that totally dragged... the whole thing could have been much better if it was a bit shorter.

The ending is great though.

I didn't really like that movie that much. I can't watch horror movies for some reason. It was filmed well and the ending did make the hair on my back stand up.
