If sydney keeps playing as it is geelong should be no problem. When do the MIGHTY TIGERS make a meal of swans.

Round 10, at the G. Should be an interesting game after they lose to the Eagles at Subi.

Will hird and carey make it to the finals. Will freo win the next ten games. Are collingwood are a spent force along with essendon can there be a sydney -adelaide final. where would it be played?Canberra?

I think those questions are way too hard to answer definitively right now.

Freo haven't shown much consistency- as in, they've only managed 1 win away from home so far this season, but it was a hiding, and if they continue like that they could win another 10 on the trot.

The 'Pies are one of those teams which, historically, does well for a length of time, then falls away suddenly for a longer period, but I wouldn't write them off with the talent they have.

Essendon are also a team you can never write off, with quite a few of the best players in the league- and never underestimate Sheedy's ingenuity.

And as for a neutral ground for a final without Victorian clubs- I vote for Bellerive Oval.

Nah, keep it at the MCG - especially if it's Sydney vs Brisbane. It'll be played in front of three men, a dog and a couple of cicadas, which would make it a novel experience.

Default finals

There are no cicadas in tas in september. HOW about adelaide and port final. It would have to be played in adelaide. IT would be so devasting to the MCG members

Seriously, though, wouldn't that break a contract between the MCC and the AFL? I don't know the details, but I'm pretty sure the AFL have a contract to play the Grand Final at the G for some time to come, and I can't imagine the MCC letting the AFL out of it.

3 from 3 for you so far, but you did tip Essendon while the game was on...

I think Richmond are a pretty safe bet tonight, too.
