I do exactly what you do,but I do it right back at you, gratuitous insults and all. I think I`ve even got some mirrors around here somewhere too. We`re like soulmates! Maybe we could get our picture taken together in that little booth at the mall. Btw, You sound a little jealous, but let me assure that I don`t do this for any other Christians. I'm all yours! |

Hitler was a christian, so what?
Quote:
Hitler leaned more to Lutheranism as a "germanic religion." His anti-Semitism was like all European anti-Semitism, Christian based. He was a great admirer of Martin Luther, the most notorious Jew-hater prior to Hitler. Luther wrote two or more vitriolic essays on the "Despicable Jew" and "The Lies of the Jews". Luther was the leader of the Protestant CHRISTIAN Reformation. I posted this to clear that up. It doesn't matter in the debate between rationalism and superstition or more specifically Atheism/Agnosticism and Theism/Religion. Hitler was a Christian, Stalin was an Atheist. So we are even on modern dictators. But over the past 1700 years the Christian Church holds the major league record on persecutions, executions of dissenters and heretics, murder of women as witches, and burning of atheists, pantheists, and agnostics as "blasphemers." The Christian murder record is unlikely to be surpassed. Fiach |

Fenton you are being very disingenuous here. You have steadfastly refused to stop this nonsense in spite of my offers to ignore each other. I post stuff on thread that you don't like, so you attack me personally. Most Christians either ignore you or leave, but I did not. However if you continue to refuse, I will put you on my ignore list, much as I hoped for a better resolution.

But I'm sure no atheist will note either the totally irrelevant nature of the comments, nor the height of your soapbox. HUMANS WITH TOO MUCH POWER AND NO MORAL CONVICTIONS MURDER OTHER HUMANS BY THE MILLIONS. ALWAYS HAVE, ALWAYS WILL. Rad |

What moral convictions? Where does Jesus or one of the apostles say it's OK to break a bruised reed?
Ridiculous. They had too much power and unchallengeable authority. And it just amazes me that more atheists don't appreciate what Bush is doing since they hope in man's power to put an end to evil. I have no such vain hopes. Rad |
