Default Hunting for Bambi

Los Vegas: Hunting for Bambi

"It's a new form of adult entertainment, and men are paying thousands of dollars to shoot naked women with paint ball guns."

"Men pay anywhere from $5000 to $10,000 for the chance to come to the middle of the desert to shoot what they call "Bambis" with a paint ball gun."

"So why do women agree to strip down and run around the desert dodging paint balls? Nicole says it's good money. 'I mean it's $2,500 if you don't get hit. You try desperately not to and it's $1000 if you do,' said Nicole"

(Don't forget to watch the videos and read both reports.)

Legal it may be. Everyone may be willing participants. But god damnit, I reserve the right to say that this is just fucking pathetic and wrong. I have absolutely zero respect for anybody involved. Zero. Further evidence of the decline of our civilization into animalistic idiocy.

Seems grossly misogynistic, but easily justifiable, to me. I just wonder what makes these men want to shoot women?

Paintballs hurt like hell, even through clothes. I dunno, it makes me shudder.

(Did you get this from PoE News? It's been disturbing me all day.)

I don't think it's evidence of any decline of our civilization because so few people take part in it and so many are outraged.

As a Las Vegan, and generally a fan of the adult entertainment industry here, I think "Shooting Bambi" is pretty stupid and possibly even embarassing to Sin City, the city which also gave the world Bumfights. I've watched enough Jackass to know that being shot with a paintball gun hurts, especially if one is naked. I can't understand the women who would do this; they could make more money as Vegas exotic dancers or Pahrump brothel workers, and not wake up with welts the next morning.

If there's a naked hot woman around, my last impulse would be to shoot her with a paintball gun .

THOUGHTfully Yours,
Clark

This is totally fucked up. I didn't think I would see anything more sad than the "naked chicks firing machine guns" videos but this takes the biscuit.

I wonder if I nair my whole body, get a wig and some size 13 pumps, and tuck it all away Silence of the Lambs style I could get $1,000 to get shot by paintballs. I bet I could take 50.

I don't think they would pay, I hate discrimination.

Snopes listed it today as "unknown". They did point out that for a business charging $10k per trip, they are awful reserved with the contact info. Apparently a paintball gun manufacturer has asked Vegas to look into it for safety concerns.

edit:

The huntingforbambi.com site wouldn't load, though it responded to pings fine. Here's the contact info from whois if anyone wants to call and ask:

Snopes seems to think it could all be a hoax:
