I do not assemble a machine with less than 512mb these days and the only reason to go that low is there's no point in adding more on a Win 9x machine. If the OS will use it I put 1gb, my machine has 2gb.

True enough... my system has a cool gig in it. Mozilla usually takes between 32-64 MB. The problem is that it loads a whole bunch of stuff from disk when you start it up, which leads to slower start times. It's not a big deal to me, other than the fact that it irritates me that Internet Explorer loads so much quicker.

People with slower systems wanting to run Mozilla could try Phoenix instead (Phoenix is like Mozilla Lite).

Last I checked, Phoenix is the future of Mozilla. Which is a good thing, since I really prefer Phoenix to Mozilla 1.x. But personally, I'm still an Opera Nut.
