That tactic might work for lit, history or philosophy . If we checked their computer usage pattern, would we find all papers being done the same way ? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

You should stop and think that what you perceive as "evasion" is perhaps a practical desire to avoid dealing directly with some people. The second-to-last post on <a href="http://iidb.org/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic&f=50&t=000579&p=3" target="_blank">page 3</a> should help you in deciding which is more likely to be the cas.

The real question, Vanderzyden, is why should anyone take you seriously? And as Bible Humper just said, this is the same ploy you are using on EOG, and which Jobar warned you about. Until you stop ignoring requests for references and sources, and stop evading hard questions with "you're wasting my time with your attitude" I doubt if many are going to want to waste their time with you. And this constant answering a question with a question is getting annoying... do you really think nobody sees through it?

You say "further response". That implies that you have made some attempt at responding to the many requests for references and explanations. Where and when have you done so? All you have to do to stop this is give a straight answer!

I have no particular interest in changing your mind. You make it seem as though your opinion was some benchmark to which I must attain.

Why don't you first explain why you're calling me a liar? When I compare this accusation with your original question, I am tempted to draw the conclusion that you have particular negative motives. Also, your stereotypes are similar to those of a racist.

You may wonder why I belabor this point. My experience is that efficient, productive dialogue depends upon establishing a working protocol. So far you've given me no indication why I should pursue one further with you. Look around: there are others here who are much more pleasant and engaging.

OK Vanderzyden, fair enough. I am calling you a liar because I suspect your motives. You claim to be seeking the truth and you claim to be open-minded but from your posts I suspect that is not the case. But for my purposes that is neither here nor there. I truly am interested in why you are pursuing this line in the first place. For my own selfish curiosity I would like to know what you are trying to accomplish and why you are going about it the way you are. I really have no interest in burning you at the intellectual stake. To put it short and sweet, it is my hope I will learn something new.
