I think that the original authors were being very imprecise here, using the same word for some moldy appearance wherever it is found -- whether on human skin, in clothing, or on walls.

However, that appearance has different causes -- various microbes that cause skin diseases vs. mildew fungi.

"Leprosy" is a traditional translation, but the Biblical description could fit other skin diseases.

That wasn't very inspired of them, was it.

Recently, I had redish and green patches between my legs (fungal Infection, Tinea, amazingly irritating)

Can't say I've had anything fall off though.

Perhaps rabbits like to twitch their noses, but I am not familiar with rabbits.
I think rabbits have to constantly gnaw their teeth to prevent them from growing too long, or something like that.

Ah, here's a link about it...

foursquareman: It somehow was less disgusting (to me) than the ringworm I had under my arm at the same time.

(only a black ring, but eww)

Remember how last summer was the hottest since 1902?

I accidentally heard some guy on one of those Christian channels explain why the Genesis account of Creation makes such excellent sense, but he left out the most interesting feature of it, and I wonder if Douglas J. Bender can explain it for me?
Genesis I says God created night and day before he created the sun.
Please, how did he do that?

reply I recieve most often: "It's not a chronological account."

Second most common: "You're going to hell."
