The art deco statues in the Dept. of Justice that Ashcroft covered up would finally be blown up, just like the Buddhist statues in Afghanistan were. Boom!

You are giving the religious right far too much credit. They've used stealth tactics to get into the Whitehouse and Congress, but I think now America understands their wacky threat.
As for the crimes you listed, remember this: to convict someone of a felony you need a jury. Just because Jerry Falwell is president (yikes!) doesn't mean that a jury will automatically vote to convict for sodomy or pornography. It's called jury nulification. If you were on a jury would you vote to convict someone of these "crimes"? |

What if non-Christians weren't allowed to serve on juries?

I think it would be difficult to give an accurate view of what a Christian theocracy in America would be like, primarily because I don't think you'll ever see a cohesive organization with the desire to create a genuine theocracy and sufficient power to pull it off. Coalitions of fundamentalist groups would collapse into squabbling, and without a coalition, no one group will gain enough power. Compromise is anathema to fundamentalism!
That said, for a chilling vision of what could be, do a search for Christian Reconstructionalism. A prime example of a group that promotes it is The Chalcedon Foundation. Orthodoxy is of primary concern to them; by their vision of proper governance, those who have heretical views are equivalent to the insane, and as such should lose any and all rights. |

Daemon has a good point. I think the various fundy groups would start fighting among each other over doctrine.

As a former fundamentalist minister, I'm convinced that the only item mentioned thus far that would actually be implemented is #1. Actually, they would reverse Roe v. Wade which would send it back to each state. They would also pass a constitutional amendment protecting the Pledge, the motto, and perhaps the flag itself.
There is a lunatic fringe which advocates a Christian theocracy, but among the thousands of fundamentalists I know, I've never met one. edited to add: The biggest agenda item on fundamentalists list is the fear that atheists are taking over the government and will soon ban Christianity and execute them. Just yesterday I read a radio ad on AFA describing a future where all Christians are imprisoned. You have no idea how paranoid they are. Well, maybe you do. Fundamentalist Christian eschatology will inform all American foreign policy considerations. Asking the question, "What can we do to help set the stage for The Second Coming?" will be key when making decisions about the use of military force abroad.
Personally, I think this is already beginning to happen. |

ie Dayton, Tennessee, 1925. Even with Clarence Darrow as his attorney and the unjustness (and unconstitutionality) of the law, Scopes was still found guilty. |

Did any body go to that site daemon posted? That was pretty freaky fundy stuff. *Sigh*, the main reason atheists don't like fundies is because fundies hate atheists and want to convert us. Oy vey.

The Fundies would lose both houses of congress and the White House in 2012. They would be permanently discredited. The Republican party might well cease to be a force in American politics, probably to be replaced by something like the Reform party.
