I'd be called a heretic because some of the things I write should never be stated, that is, it is wrong to remove the mystery of faith because that would defeat the purpose of relegion. That it is esoteric only means that their is truth behind it because I sure did not study the Cathechism. I do it for fun and will admid that I learn much from our discussions. |

Etymology of the word appears to come from ANGLOSAXON "oestre", there's probably an Indoeuropean root for it.... meaning basically "Swelling", same thing as "oestrus:" you can look them up; 's what dictionaries are for. Go to Big Mother OED & get hooked. L&Hs. Abe
