Hello Amos, you sly character you. I don't see any truth in your argument. Most of what you say is nothingness and nihilism to me, not an argument.

Yes Mike but that was just to dramatize the situation because that was the best thing that ever happened to him.

Prior to his ascention in John.21:19 just after he showed Peter the kind of dead we, as followers of Jesus, are to endure he said "follow me."

Come on sullster, don't be shy. It must have rung a bell someplace or you would not have given me the compliments you did.

If you think I was complimenting you, then you truly can't see beyond the borders of Amosland.
Don't you ever find it strange that you claim an exclusive esoteric interpretation of catholic theology which is exclusive of what is taught to other catholics?
Amos, are you a heretic?

No sullster, I really did not think that but I was hoping you'd be my friend for that day.

No, I am not a heretic but they would probably call me a that. Have you noticed that I defend the Catholic Church and actually can be an advocate of their theology? I'd be called a heretic because some of the things I write should never be stated, that is, it is wrong to remove the mystery of faith because that would defeat the purpose of relegion.

That it is esoteric only means that their is truth behind it because I sure did not study the Cathechism. I do it for fun and will admid that I learn much from our discussions.

Etymology of the word appears to come from ANGLOSAXON "oestre", there's probably an Indoeuropean root for it.... meaning basically "Swelling", same thing as "oestrus:" you can look them up; 's what dictionaries are for. Go to Big Mother OED & get hooked. L&Hs. Abe
