What do you think all those black stealth helicopters are? Don't answer that they might hear you!

I agree with those who say there has been plenty of investigations done, by both government and private groups, with no undisputed findings.
I'm thinking that these other people have some kind of a want or need to have UFO's exist. |

I love Arken's comment, and I'd add, if there was a species advanced enough to make that kind of travel, why in the %$&# would they want to visit here?

To pick up supplies and have a little fun with the natives. Outside our solar system is a big sign: Earth up ahead! last rest stop for 1000 light years! Then there is always the possibility that they are our ‘gods’ and we are their lab rats! |

By "all claims should be investigated", I really do mean just that. I'm not saying the federal government should investigate every UFO sighting, of course not. But I don't believe in shrugging stuff off (unless its really crackpot, like, yes, flat earth theory). No, the US government shouldn't bother paying for it. Because, one, its just not that important, and two, as I tried to say, but garbled myself: UFO's are probably secret government tests. A government funded investigation won't find anything.

Hi, I'm new around here
Sorry to drag up an "old" topic, but UFOs are a bit of a favourite of mine. Most people in the USA don't seem to realise that here in the UK (or Europe more generally) the preferred hypothesis (among serious researchers) to explain the 5-10% of UFOs that aren't Venus, sundogs, meteors, etc. etc. is the "earthlights" hypothesis.
The "earthlights" hypothesis is that:
Therefore, it seems safe to assume that the few "inexplicable" UFO experiences (and perhaps all paranormal experiences?) can be blamed on hallucinations caused by the magnetic fields and infrasound of micro-tremors. |

You don't believe that some things have been seen flying that cannot and have not been identified? Or you don't believe that these objects were alien spacecraft? If you mean the first, all I can say is WTF. If the second, I can understand that much more. Either way, the fact remains that people are seeing things that remain to be satisfactorily explained by either researchers or the government, for one reason or the other (as Spock said in Wrath of Khan, there are 2 possibilities, they are either unwilling, or unable. ). And there is enough evidence in the FoIA documents to show that the government has indeed looked into UFOs post Project Bluebook/Sign/Grudge. If you really want to read some nutty stuff though, check out this page. http://eaglenet.enochgraphics.com/dulce/ BTW, that page is best read in the dark, preferrably right before bed, in a house far away from any city or town. |

So let me get this straight.
It's easier for you to believe that everyone in history who's ever seen a UFO has been hallucinating due to quartz-magenetic-earthquakeness than to believe that somewhere in the infinite universe there's a species more technologically advanced than we are? |
