I apologize if I upset anyone with this thread, but I do believe heavily in the sanctity of human life, even that which is still developing. However I should have taken into account how hard it is to avoid certain circumstances.

One of the methods by which birth control pills work is to prevent the implantation of any eggs that are fertilized. It is considered by many anti-choicers to be an abortificant. If human status begins at conception, use of the birth control pill can be murder.

Or in short, what you are proposing is that abortion only be legal for those who have tried and failed at another form of abortion?

So when does one define "personhood" to begin? It seems to me you are saying it is not at conception....
