Perhaps it would be best to hear her reasoning.

I too consciously did not attend the march for various reasons and I haven't seen any results from it.

I certainly can't blame you for not traveling all the way from the moon to attend the march. since I didn't travel from Racine for it either. But I think we got some results and will get more, even if we don't see them right away.

I guess this is a good time to ask.

What results were those?

I think the March was flawed and that's why I didn't attend. I expected ambigious results and I think that prediction is holding up. It got no press worth speaking of.

It would have been a better idea to plan and announce it more than a year ahead of time and even longer. They could have doubled or tripled the amount of people there and gotten some real press coverage.

The march got more press than did your sitting at home doing nothing.

I think that was the only flaw with the march: you weren't there. Had you been there, it would have been perfect.

Why would you expect to see any results from not attending?

I've heard from people there that their personal estimates ran from 1000 to "between 2 and 3 thousand."

I haven't seen any pictures of the crowd myself so I can't estimate.

This, and other comments, presume that results or press would ONLY be positive.

I did not attend because I thought there was a greater liklihood of negative press or a general anti-religious bitch rally. I didn't want a part of either so I decided not to go.
