Ok.... here's what I have so far:

This 'poem' (if you can call this drivel poetry....) was printed in the Danville Valley Citizen in July 2002. The paper recieved a HUGE uproar over it, (duh) and one of the publishers issued a halfassed 'apology,' (remember Jerry Falwell's 'apology' after he blamed 9/11 on basically everybody but religious fanatics? Yup. One of those.)

Ok, I haven't been able to find much more, but looking over this rag's website (they link to such wonderful sites as worldnetdaily and the Eagle Forum) they seem to be at least sympathetic to the Christian Patriot movement. (The phrasing and language of the poem clued me in.) Yes this would be the same movement that gave us such lovely groups as Posse Komatotus and the Order. Turner Diaries types. Enlightened, you can tell your mother that while I haven't been able to find a direct link, very likely has connections to various ultra-right wing and even neo-nazi groups. (At least they use the same rhetoric.) The website is full of that kind of drivel.

The earliest reference I can find is that it was distributed by Peter Knight, a republican assemblyman from California, I think northern. He was hounded into publically apologizing. Does this ring any bells with anybody?

(Boy does anybody get the feeling that we are ENTIRELY the wrong people to piss off? )
