Umm, maybe you missed the part of the quote where Borg said: "But it has also had negative consequences" which means there are positive aspects to it as was mentioned.


I think you misunderstand here. Borg thinks it is negative that the Churches are split into many denominations, and he also thinks that this did not characterize Christianity before. I do not agree with either of his readings, is all.

Of course, as you said, it is much worse now!

Oh, now I get it!

Then what you originally wrote, that I asked about ("Of course, Christians usually don't think Moses, Noah, Bob, Abraham et al are roasting in hell.") was from the VTV, the Veggie Tales Version!
