Duh...when is easter? Must be fairly soon, as the stores are filling up with chocolate bunnies and eggs. Since I no longer practice the religion, I've stopped paying much attention to its holidays.
I usually notice ash wednesday only because of all the folks wandering around with soot on their foreheads. |

I did go to Easter vigil on my own for several years after I knew there was no chance that I'd ever believe again. It was a revisting childhood thing since as a Catholic, I went to church at least 4 times during "holy week". In addidion, there was this song "O Healing River" that they did at the local church every year that I enjoyed. Don't go anymore because I get this feeling that I want to run out screaming because I can't believe so many still buy into the whole thing. |

I think my local family has given up on me - I wasn't invited this year. Last year however, I lived with family and after several urgings went along with a Jewish-Christian passover dinner. Wow, they managed to mix everything I hate about church services and horseradishes into one big nauseating fest......

I don't suppose Easter would be a good excuse to send a large check to World Vision or a worthy charity, if you don't like what your pastor did with your tithe money. Rad |

Rad and I are going to church together.
Then I am making brunch with his wife and then we will be having a threesome. Damn never mind its a holy day Rad we'll have to wait on that threesome In all seriousness I am attending mass on Easter with my 6 year old. My birthday is on easter sunday. Same as Hitler's so after mass I will be going out to dinner with my brothers and sisters and some good friends |
